Specialized Health Care Services NEMT is a high quality program designed to provide reliable, safe and timely Non-Emergency Medical Transportation to assist individuals in select areas throughout NC and SC. Our ambulatory transport services are designed to cater to individual clients based on their level of need. Our drivers are trained to deliver the highest quality of service to ensure our clients’ comfort, safety, and convenience for each trip.
HOW WE CAN HELP
There are millions of Americans every year that do not get the medical attention they need due to lack of access to transportation or the ability to drive or use public transit. Specialized Health Care Services NEMT program was created to help meet this need in our community, making it easy and seamless to book quality, dependable service to medical appointments for you or your loved ones.
Doctor's Appointments
We assist clients make it to a wide variety of medical appointments safely, and in a timely manner. These appointments can include: Medical Doctor, Dentist, Physical Therapist, Oncology/Radiation, WIC and more. These rides can be scheduled up to 30 days in advance and as little as 48 before appointment date.
Mental Health Therapies
Making and keeping regular appointments are a critical component of effective mental health treatment. They facilitate better understanding, stronger therapeutic alliances, risk reduction, treatment plan adherence, and goal setting. We provide transportation to ensure patients make and keep their appointments.
Dialysis
Dialysis appointments can be frequent and can leave patients who go through treatment feeling fatigued. We ensure an ease of pre-booking services and ensure that patients receive the support they need. If you have loved ones who have appointments at a dialysis cent, schedule your ride today.
Admission / Discharge
We can facilitate transportation for admission or discharge to or from the hospital, rehabilitation facility etc. to accommodate client need and the needs of their families
